Job Description

The Cath Lab Technician demonstrates critical thinking skills and judgment in assisting with the performance of imaging studies in the Cardiac Cath Lab. The Technician is responsible and accountable for performing studies timely, under the direction of the Cardiologist, Chief Technologist, or Director of Imaging Services.

Responsibilities

• Assist with imaging studies in the Cardiac Cath Lab.
• Perform studies efficiently, adhering to established protocols.
• Support the Cardiologist and team during procedures.
• Monitor patients throughout the imaging process.
• Maintain familiarity with STEMI and high-risk equipment including Impella, IABP, and Anari.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Must be a Radiology Tech with at least 2 years of experience.
• Current certifications: ARRT, ACLS, & BLS.
• Experience in circulating, monitoring, and handling STEMI cases.
