Schedule

12-hour shifts, 3 days per week, rotating weekends, 7 AM - 7:30 PM; weekends and holidays as scheduled.

Job Description

The Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) will provide high-quality respiratory care to pediatric and adult patients. Responsibilities include assessing patients, planning treatments, and administering therapies as ordered by physicians while ensuring the best interests of patients are upheld.

Responsibilities

• Assess patients and develop appropriate treatment plans based on physician orders.
• Administer respiratory treatments including oxygen therapy, mechanical ventilation, and airway management.
• Perform EKGs as required outside of the ER context.
• Provide support during emergencies and assist with intubation for pediatric and adult patients.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Active Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) license; Certified Respiratory Therapist (CRT) accepted if held prior to July 1, 2022.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS), Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS), Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS), and Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certifications.
• Experience with NICU, pediatrics, and adult patients is required.
