Job Description

An exciting opportunity for an experienced Emergency Department Nurse to join a team with a strong commitment to patient care in a high-volume environment. The role involves managing a variety of patient conditions in a fast-paced emergency setting.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality nursing care in a Level 2 trauma center and comprehensive stroke center.
• Work collaboratively with a diverse team to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
• Perform required procedures while ensuring safe and effective care.
• Utilize advanced equipment including Baxter pumps and GE monitors.
• Maintain accurate documentation using the Cerner system.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 2 years nursing experience, with at least 1 year in an Emergency Room setting.
• Current certifications: ACLS, BLS, PALS, TNCC, CPI, NIHSS (to be obtained before hire); ENPC within 90 days of hire.
• Experience in a high-volume emergency department (100,000 visits per year) is preferred.
• Ability to work in all areas of the Emergency Department and contribute to a teamwork-oriented environment.
