Job Description

We are seeking a compassionate and engaged Registered Nurse to join our Medical Surgical Unit. The unit offers a total of 34 beds with the capacity for 43 patients and specializes in stroke and neuro care. The ideal candidate will thrive in a collaborative environment, providing high-quality care to patients on a general medical-surgical floor.

Responsibilities

• Deliver patient care in accordance with established standards and protocols.
• Monitor and assess patients’ conditions and report any changes.
• Collaborate effectively with other healthcare professionals.
• Assist in implementing individualized care plans for patients.
• Maintain accurate medical records using the Meditech EMR system.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Current RN license in the state of Virginia.
• BLS certification required; ACLS and NIH Stroke Certification preferred.
• Experience in a medical-surgical unit or with stroke/neuro patients is highly desirable.
