Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Medical Laboratory Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 2 years of experience and be proficient in various laboratory skills. This position requires competence in blood banking and various laboratory procedures.

Responsibilities

• Perform laboratory procedures, including but not limited to 24-hour urine analysis, blood banking, and microbiology culture reading.
• Accurately prepare and analyze specimens for diagnostic testing.
• Ensure compliance with all safety and quality control protocols.
• Document test results in the electronic health record system.
• Collaborate with healthcare teams to provide high-quality patient care.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 2 years of laboratory experience preferred, with an emphasis on blood banking.
• Required certifications: ASCP, ASCP-MLS, and BLS.
• Experience with electronic charting systems, preferably Epic.
