Day shift, 3x12 hour shifts from 07:00 - 19:00.

Job Description

The Cardiac Care Unit serves a diverse patient population including young adults to geriatric patients, focusing on those requiring medical level cardiac care and recovering from cardiac interventions such as surgery, stent placements, and pacemaker implants. The unit consists of 36 private rooms with a patient ratio of 1:6. This role requires floating to units of equal or lesser acuity as needed.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality nursing care for cardiac patients.
• Administer medications and monitor patient conditions.
• Assist in cardiac procedures and interventions.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams including physical therapy, respiratory services, and pharmacy.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience.
• Previous travel nursing experience is required.
• Current BLS certification is required; NIHSS certification is preferred.
• Must have EPIC experience.
