Night shift, 4x12-hours, from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM, including weekdays and weekends.

Job Description

We are seeking a qualified MedSurg RN for a fast-paced 34-bed unit specializing in managing acute medical-surgical patients. The ideal candidate will demonstrate excellent clinical skills, adaptability, and dedication to providing high-quality patient care.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care to patients, ensuring high standards of care.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to deliver comprehensive patient care.
• Assist in managing complex patient conditions and administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Monitor and document patient progress and communicate effectively with healthcare teams.
• Implement and adhere to safety and infection control protocols.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 2 years of RN experience in a MedSurg setting.
• Current BCLS, ACLS, and NIH certifications required.
• West Virginia or Compact RN License (pending license acceptable).
• Familiarity with Cerner electronic medical records is preferred.
• Previous charge experience is a plus.
