Schedule

Night shift: 3x12-Hour (19:00 - 07:30). Travelers must be willing to work 3 weekends per 4-week schedule and 2 of 3 major holidays.

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Emergency Room Nurse with Level I trauma experience and a strong background in interpreting and managing dysrhythmias. The ideal candidate will work in a high-paced environment, providing care to a diverse patient population. Ratio of patients can vary from 1:5-6, potentially increasing based on hospital traffic.

Responsibilities

• Provide emergency medical care to patients in a Level 1 trauma center.
• Monitor and manage patients' conditions, including interpretation of dysrhythmias.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure high-quality patient care.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation using EPIC charting.
• Administer procedural sedation and manage continuous IV sedation when necessary.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• 2 years of minimum experience in an emergency or trauma setting.
• Required certifications: ACLS, BCLS by AHA, PALS, TNCC, NIH.
• Active Michigan RN license required by start date.
• Experience with EPIC charting preferred.
