Schedule

Night shift: 3x12-Hour (19:00 - 07:30). Must be willing to work 3 weekends (Friday-Sunday) per 4-week schedule.

Job Description

This role is for a dedicated and skilled Emergency Room Nurse at a Level 1 Trauma Center, responsible for providing high-quality care to patients in a fast-paced environment. The nurse will be expected to handle a range of responsibilities and work collaboratively within interdisciplinary support teams.

Responsibilities

• Provide emergency care to patients in a high-acuity setting.
• Manage and interpret dysrhythmias.
• Administer continuous IV sedation and procedural sedation as required.
• Participate in triage and ensure efficient patient flow.
• Maintain accurate patient records utilizing EPIC charting.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Active State License in Michigan.
• ACLS, BCLS (AHA), PALS, TNCC, NIH certification required. ENPC certification preferred.
• Minimum of 2 years of Level I trauma experience is required.
• Experience with EPIC charting and high patient ratios.
