Job Description

We are seeking highly skilled Registered Nurses for our Med-Surg/Oncology unit. This unit provides care for patients with a variety of medical and surgical issues, including oncology needs. The environment is fast-paced, requiring team collaboration and effective patient care strategies.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality patient care and support in the Med-Surg/Oncology unit
• Perform assessments, develop care plans, and implement interventions
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to optimize patient outcomes
• Conduct hourly rounding to ensure patient safety and satisfaction
• Participate in bedside shift reports and shift huddles

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Medical surgical experience in an acute care setting
• Oncology and chemotherapy experience preferred
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
