Job Description

The ICU Registered Nurse (RN) will provide care to patients in Intensive Care Units and may also be required to float to step-down units, Intermediate Care Units (IMCU), and Emergency Department (ED) for ICU holds/borders. Potential float to Women's and Family Services may occur, but the RN will primarily be assigned to the ICU. Nurse-patient ratios will not exceed 1:3 while assigned to any unit. The RN is expected to assess, implement, and evaluate patient care under the guidance of licensed physicians, ensuring that care is personalized and based on current nursing practices.

Responsibilities

• Assess and evaluate patient care needs.
• Collaborate with the patient, their family, and healthcare team members for individualized care.
• Direct nursing support staff in delivering patient care.
• Maintain compliance with nursing practices, administrative policies, and procedures.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing (Required).
• PA Registered Nurse License (Required).
• BLS - Basic Life Support certification (Required).
• 1 Year experience in critical care or related specialty (Preferred).
