Shift: 6:00 AM - 6:00 PM; Every other weekend required.

Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Telemetry Cardiac Nurse to provide high-quality patient care in a specialized unit. The ideal candidate should possess strong telemetry monitoring skills and experience with cardiac procedures including TAVR, cardiac catheterizations, ablations, watchmen devices, and cardiac drips.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and manage telemetry patients effectively.
• Provide post-operative care for patients following cardiac interventions.
• Administer prescribed medications and manage cardiac drips as required.
• Collaborate with the healthcare team to optimize patient outcomes.
• Educate patients and their families regarding cardiac care and management.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Telemetry experience is required.
• Prior experience in a Cardiac Progressive Care Unit (PCU) is preferred.
• Certifications required: BLS, ACLS.
• Experience in care of patients post TAVR and related cardiac procedures is mandatory.
