Job Description

The Cardiac Medical RN position involves providing care for a diverse patient population in a 23-bed Med-Surg Cardiac Medical Unit. The unit caters to patients with various cardiac medical issues, including but not limited to hemodynamically stable myocardial infarctions, acute and chronic heart failure, and new-onset atrial fibrillation.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and interpret cardiac telemetry.
• Administer medications and IV drips such as Amiodarone, Diltiazem, and Insulin.
• Perform and assist in procedures including cardiac catheterizations, ablations, and cardioversions.
• Provide care for ICU transfers and neuro patients requiring specialized monitoring.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Current RN license in the state of New Hampshire.
• ACLS certification.
• Cardiac telemetry knowledge.
• Experience with medical-surgical nursing and cardiac patients.
