Schedule

Regular schedule is from 08:00 to 16:30 with expectations to work every other weekend and holidays in rotation with hospital employees.

Job Description

The Physical Therapist will provide therapy services throughout the facility, working closely with patients in both the inpatient rehabilitation facility and acute care settings. The individual will be expected to demonstrate critical thinking and clinical reasoning while offering patient-centered care.

Responsibilities

• Conduct evaluation and treatment of patients.
• Provide discharge planning and family training.
• Utilize adaptive devices and equipment effectively.
• Participate in team conferences to discuss patient care.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Active Physical Therapy license.
• Active BLS certification.
• Willingness to work on an inpatient rehabilitation facility (IRF) unit.
• Hospital or IRF experience highly preferred, especially in stroke and neuro specialties.
