Job Description

We are seeking a motivated and skilled Registered Nurse (RN) for a contract position in the Intensive Care Unit (ICU). The ideal candidate must possess a strong commitment to patient safety and teamwork, with an ability to adapt and learn in a fast-paced environment. This role requires direct patient care in a critical care setting.

Responsibilities

• Manage patient care in the ICU with diverse and critical needs.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
• Perform critical procedures such as rapid sequence intubation and IV sedation.
• Administer medications, monitor vital signs, and utilize advanced medical equipment.
• Participate in continuous learning and improvement in patient care protocols.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Current RN license in Texas.
• BLS and ACLS certified.
• Experience in the ICU setting is preferred, with specific expertise in post-op cardiac surgery being a plus.
• Knowledge of NIH guidelines and trauma credentials (such as TNCC, CATN) is preferred.
