Job Description

The Physical Therapist evaluates all assigned patients and develops, implements, and modifies treatment plans according to the patients' needs and physician direction. Responsibilities include delegating and directing all discipline-specific therapy services, ensuring the design of functional treatment programs for effective community reintegration, and educating patients, families, students, and coworkers. The therapist upholds the organization’s mission, core values, compliance standards, and safety protocols.

Responsibilities

• Complete comprehensive evaluations and develop appropriate treatment plans and goals.
• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to address all barriers to discharge.
• Manage individual, concurrent, and group treatment sessions based on patient care needs.
• Complete concise and accurate medical record documentation in compliance with policies.
• Participate in student programs and provide positive learning environments.
• Maintain professional licensure and adhere to continuing education requirements.
• Engage in patient and professional advocacy efforts.
• Follow all safety and personal appearance standards set by the organization.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• BLS Certification required prior to first shift.
• Must hold a valid, current State license.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience required.
