MS Tele RN - M5/McClure 5: Neurosurgical & Surgical Unit

This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule

The position requires a 12-hour day shift with a minimum commitment of every other weekend. Travelers are expected to work 2 out of the 4 major holidays: Thanksgiving, Christmas, Christmas Eve, and New Year's Day.

Job Description

The MS Tele RN will provide nursing care in a neurosurgical and surgical unit. The role requires prior travel nursing experience and the ability to adapt schedules based on unit and patient care needs.

Responsibilities

• Deliver patient care in a fast-paced surgical and neurosurgical unit
• Communicate effectively with interdisciplinary teams to ensure quality patient outcomes
• Monitor and assess patient conditions, providing timely interventions as needed

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• A minimum of 2 years of nursing experience in a relevant unit
• Prior travel nursing experience required
• Experience in a large teaching facility is essential
• AHA BLS and AHA ACLS certifications are mandatory
• NIH Stroke Scale certification required prior to start
• Epic experience from within the past 2 years is non-negotiable
