Day shift from 5:00 AM to 11:30 PM. One shift available on either Wednesday evening or Monday evening.

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Medical Laboratory Scientist (MLS) with blood bank experience to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a minimum of 2 years of experience in laboratory settings, particularly in blood banking procedures.

Responsibilities

• Perform various laboratory diagnostic tests and procedures.
• Ensure accurate patient identification and specimen handling.
• Execute blood banking procedures including crossmatching and antibody typing.
• Document and report test results according to guidelines.
• Maintain quality assurance and control standards.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in a clinical laboratory setting.
• ASCP certification required; ASCP-MLS preferred.
• BLS certification required.
• Experience with Cerner charting system preferred.
• Strong skills in working independently and as part of a team.
• Experience in blood banking is essential.
