Night shift: 3x12-Hour (19:00 - 07:00)

Job Description

The Labor and Delivery Registered Nurse will be responsible for providing care to obstetric patients, including those requiring high-risk interventions. The RN will be required to float within multiple facilities as needed and must adhere to strict compliance and certification guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Circulate and scrub for C-sections.
• Assist with high-risk deliveries and perform assessments on obstetric patients.
• Monitor fetal heart patterns and manage labor effectively.
• Administer medications and maintain IV therapies as required.
• Provide postpartum care and education to new mothers.
• Work collaboratively with the interdisciplinary team to ensure optimal patient outcomes.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Active New Jersey RN license.
• Minimum of 1 year of experience in Labor and Delivery nursing.
• ACLS, BLS, and NRP certifications required.
• EPIC charting experience preferred.
• Successful completion of a Dysrhythmia test within 72 hours of signing is mandatory.
