Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Med Surg Travel RN to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in providing high-quality patient care in a dynamic healthcare environment, ensuring all medical-surgical needs are met with compassion and professionalism.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care to patients in a medical-surgical unit.
• Monitor and assess patient progress, administering medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Collaborate with healthcare team members to develop individualized treatment plans.
• Educate patients and families regarding health conditions and post-discharge care.
• Maintain accurate and detailed patient records using EMR systems.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Active Compact or AL RN License
• BLS certification
• 1 year of Med Surg nursing experience
• CERNER experience preferred
