Registered Nurse - Night Shift Float

Schedule / Shift

12-hour night shifts from 1845 to 0715, scheduled for 36 hours per week following the first week of orientation. No guarantee of hours.

Job Description

The Registered Nurse will float between various medical and surgical units. Candidates must possess an active State of Hawaii license by the start of the assignment. Medical and religious exemption requests will not be accepted in lieu of documented proof of immunity.

Responsibilities

• Provide care across the Medical Unit, Laulima Unit, and occasionally the Cardiovascular Unit.
• Utilize Medical EMR systems, Pyxis, wound vacs, and chest tubes.
• Maintain professional nursing standards in patient care.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• 2-10 years of nursing experience required.
• Current BLS certification required; ACLS preferred. Additional certifications such as PALS, Procedural Sedation, TNCC, and ENPC are a plus.
• Candidates must arrive the Thursday before the start date for necessary health appointments.
