Schedule

Night shift, 3x12 hours (7:00 PM - 7:30 AM) with weekend coverage as needed (likely every other weekend).

Job Description

The selected candidate will be responsible for providing comprehensive nursing care to patients, which may include those with COVID-19. The role necessitates collaboration with an interdisciplinary support team, and flexibility to float to various medical-surgical floors as well as potentially to rehabilitation units.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care to adults and geriatric populations.
• Utilize Epic charting system for medical documentation.
• Administer medications and perform treatments per established protocols.
• Participate in interdisciplinary team meetings and care planning.
• Monitor and manage patient vitals, responding effectively to changes in condition.
• Coordinate with additional support services including physical therapy and pharmacy.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience.
• Current certifications in ACLS and BLS are required.
• Previous experience with Epic charting is essential.
• Ability to float to all medical-surgical floors.
• Tobacco and fragrance-free facility - considerations for candidates with allergies or sensitivities.
