Night Shift: 7 PM to 7:30 AM with a 60-minute unpaid lunch

Job Description

The Registered Nurse will be responsible for providing high-quality care in a telemetry unit. The nurse will manage patients requiring monitoring, ensuring adherence to established protocols and standards of care.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care and monitor telemetry patients as needed.
• Perform assessments and develop nursing care plans.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to optimize patient outcomes.
• Float to other medical/surgical units and occasionally to the ED for admitted patients while maintaining a nursing ratio of 1:5.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Current RN license in the state of practice.
• ACLS certification preferred.
• Previous telemetry and medical/surgical nursing experience preferred.
