Schedule

This is a night shift position, working 11.5 hours from 7 PM to 7:30 AM with a 60-minute unpaid lunch. The schedule includes every other weekend and holiday coverage as needed based on unit requirements.

Job Description

The Emergency Room Hold RN is responsible for providing high-quality care to patients in the emergency department and will occasionally float to other medical/surgical units. The nurse will not be assigned tele patients but may care for admitted medicine patients in the emergency department while maintaining a patient ratio of 1:5.

Responsibilities

• Provide patient care in the emergency department and other medical/surgical units.
• Maintain appropriate patient ratios while ensuring high standards of care.
• Float to different units as required, minimizing tele patient assignments.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Current RN licensure in the applicable state.
• Experience in emergency care is preferred.
