Days, with options for 4 10-hour shifts or 5 8-hour shifts.

Job Description

The Interventional Radiology Lab provides comprehensive care to both acute inpatients and elective outpatients. The facility operates 24/7, ensuring emergency procedures are addressed during off hours, weekends, and holidays. Care is delivered through an interdisciplinary team of physicians, registered nurses, and radiology technologists.

Responsibilities

• Perform angiograms and multiple system peripheral revascularizations.
• Assist with the placement and maintenance of hemodialysis catheters, nephrostomy drainage tubes, and gastrostomy and jejunostomy tubes.
• Conduct central line placements and vascular access procedures, including port placement and integrity checks.
• Administer pain management interventions and perform paracentesis/thoracentesis.
• Provide pre and post-care for patients undergoing renal, liver, and lung biopsies and carotid stenting.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Previous experience in Interventional Radiology.
• Experience working with adolescent to geriatric patients.
• Experience with procedural sedation, circulation, and the recovery phase.
• Float to Cardiac Cath Lab as required.
• Current New York RN License, ACLS, and BLS certifications must be uploaded with the profile.
