Night shifts, 3x12 hours (19:00 - 07:00). Expect to work 2-3 weekends per month and 2 out of 3 major holidays.

Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Critical Care Unit Nurse to provide quality care to patients. The role may involve working with various patient types, including CCU, IMCU, and Acute Care patients, depending on hospital demand.

Responsibilities

• Manage a patient ratio of 2:1 in the CCU, 4:1 in the IMCU, and up to 5:1 in Acute Care when required.
• Assist with various critical care procedures, including ventilation management and central line care.
• Coordinate with interdisciplinary teams including IV Teams, Respiratory Services, and Social Services.
• Participate in patient assessments and care planning.
• Administer medications and monitor patient responses.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 2 years of critical care nursing experience.
• Current BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications required.
• Experience with Epic charting system is preferred.
• Must be able to manage ventilated patients and administer blood products.
