Medical Surgical/Telemetry RN - Night Shift

Schedule

Night shift, 4x12 hours (19:00 - 07:30), including every other weekend and holiday requirements.

Job Description

We are seeking a Medical Surgical/Telemetry RN with at least 2 years of experience to join our team during the night shift. The ideal candidate will provide care for adult and geriatric patients with various medical and surgical conditions, including CHF, CP, cellulitis, osteomyelitis, and more.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and manage patient care, including telemetry and medication administration.
• Perform EKGs and manage IV drips as required.
• Participate in interdisciplinary support and maintain communication with healthcare teams.
• Provide palliative and comfort care for patients as necessary.
• Adhere to safety protocols and isolation precautions while ensuring a patient-centered approach.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Active Maryland RN license
• ACLS and BLS certifications
• 2 years of relevant experience in Medical/Surgical and Telemetry nursing
• CPI and NIHSS certifications preferred
