Medical/Surgical Registered Nurse - Night Shift

12-hour night shifts, 3 nights per week.

Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Medical/Surgical Registered Nurse with chemotherapy certification preferred. The ideal candidate will be well-versed in the care of oncology patients, including those with sickle cell disease, and possess a strong background in step-down nursing.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality nursing care to medical and surgical patients.
• Administer chemotherapy and manage patient care related to oncology.
• Monitor and assess patients' conditions and provide necessary interventions.
• Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement patient care plans.
• Educate patients and their families about treatment plans and post-care instructions.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in medical/surgical nursing, with a focus on oncology preferred.
• Current Nursys License Verification required.
• Certification in chemotherapy administration is preferred.
• Skills Checklist, references, and resume with no gaps greater than 60 days required.
