Job Description

The Sonographer will be responsible for performing various ultrasound procedures, including but not limited to general, vascular, and OB-GYN sonography. The position demands a thorough understanding of anatomy and pathology, with an ability to distinguish between normal and abnormal findings.

Responsibilities

• Perform high-quality ultrasound examinations on pediatric to geriatric patients.
• Assist in procedures such as thoras, paras, FNAs, biopsies, and drainages.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records using EMR systems.
• Work collaboratively with the medical team to facilitate excellent patient care.
• Participate in training and education of new staff and students as needed.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• At least one year of experience with a variety of ultrasound types.
• Knowledge of anatomy and pathology with the ability to recognize normal vs. abnormal findings.
• Clinical experience in a hospital or acute care setting.
• Required certifications: BLS, RDMS, NH MIRT Licensure.
• Preferred certifications: RVT, OB-GYN, AB.
