Night shift, 7 PM to 7 AM, with every other weekend and holiday availability required.

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse (RN) specializing in Medical Surgical/Telemetry nursing. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing patient care within an acute care setting, with a focus on cardiac monitoring and emergency response.

Responsibilities

• Perform cardiac monitoring and emergency interventions, including dysrhythmia interpretation and management.
• Administer IV therapy and phlebotomy, ensuring proper peripheral line care.
• Provide nasal cannula and oxygen administration, ensuring effective non-invasive airway management.
• Observe and apply isolation precautions as necessary to maintain patient safety.
• Collaborate effectively with interdisciplinary teams to provide comprehensive care.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Active New York Single State RN license (not compact).
• BLS certification required.
• Minimum of 1 year of acute care experience within the last 6 months.
• EPIC charting experience is mandatory.
• Experience in a Medical Surgical/Telemetry unit preferred.
