Shifts are rotating between days (07:00 - 19:30) and nights (19:00 - 07:30), primarily 3x12 hour shifts.

Job Description

The Pediatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU) RN will provide comprehensive nursing care to critically ill children ages 0-18 with a variety of medical and surgical diagnoses. The position involves caring for patients requiring intensive and intermediate support, including respiratory management, trauma care, post-operative recovery, and neurology/neurosurgery cases.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality, evidence-based patient care in the PICU setting.
• Monitor and manage critical care patients on ECMO and CRRT.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive patient care.
• Participate in patient and family education and support.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 2 years of PICU nursing experience required.
• ECMO and CRRT experience preferred.
• Current SC or Multi-State/Compact RN license required.
• Certifications: BLS and PALS (AHA accepted).
