Schedule

Night shift, working 3x12-hour shifts from 7 PM to 7:30 AM. Holiday and weekend shifts required.

Job Description

The Pediatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU) provides intensive and intermediate care to children ages 0-18. The unit manages a blend of medical and surgical diagnoses, including respiratory compromise, trauma, and post-operative care. Nurses will be required to work with detailed patient management, including ECMO and CRRT therapies.

Responsibilities

• Provide specialized nursing care to critically ill pediatric patients.
• Monitor and manage ventilatory and cardiac support systems.
• Administer complex therapies such as ECMO and CRRT.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive care.
• Maintain accurate patient records and charting in EPIC.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum 2 years of PICU experience required.
• BLS and PALS certifications required (American Heart Association accepted).
• Current South Carolina RN license or multi-state/compact RN license required.
• Experience with ECMO and CRRT is preferred.
