Day shifts: 3x12-Hour (09:00 - 19:30); Night shifts: 3x12-Hour (19:00 - 07:30). Rotation required.

Job Description

We are seeking a qualified Pediatric Step Down RN with experience in rehabilitation. The role involves caring for pediatric patients with various complex diagnoses, including traumatic brain injury, spinal cord injuries, and other critical conditions requiring extensive therapy. Experience with tracheostomy and ventilator management is essential.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care for pediatric patients in a step-down rehabilitation unit.
• Manage and monitor tracheostomy and ventilator patients.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to establish and implement care plans.
• Assist in feeding and nutrition management for patients with feeding disorders.
• Conduct patient assessments and document care accurately using hospital charting systems.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience in pediatrics, specifically in step down or rehabilitation settings.
• Current RN license in Maryland or compact state.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) and Crisis Prevention Institute (CPI) certifications required.
• Experience with tracheostomy and ventilator management.
