Day shift: 5 days per week, 8-hour shifts from 07:00 to 15:30, with weekends and holidays as needed.

Job Description

We are seeking a Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in surgical technology and experience in a variety of surgical procedures.

Responsibilities

• Assist in surgical procedures by preparing and maintaining the sterile field.
• Handle surgical instruments and supplies, ensuring proper sterilization and compliance with protocols.
• Collaborate with surgical teams to provide optimal patient care.
• Monitor patient safety and comfort during procedures.
• Support the surgical team with various tasks as required.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 2 years of experience as a surgical technologist.
• Current certification from the National Board of Surgical Technology and Surgical Assisting (NBSTSA) as a Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) or Certified Surgical First Assistant (CSFA).
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
• Experience with electronic medical records (EMR) systems, specifically EPIC, is preferred.
• Ability to care for COVID-19 patients and adhere to a tobacco and fragrance-free environment.
