Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Labor and Delivery Registered Nurse to join our dedicated team. The unit specializes in managing patients with labor and preterm labor, providing necessary care in 8 labor rooms and 4 triage rooms. The RN will participate in circulating, assisting in OB-GYN cases, and providing comprehensive post-operative and antepartum care.

Responsibilities

• Attend all deliveries, including high-risk cases.
• Circulate for C-sections and manage epidural anesthesia.
• Administer blood and blood products as well as medications such as heparin, insulin, and magnesium sulfate.
• Provide patient education and care for low-risk antepartum and postpartum patients.
• Participate in the support of GYN surgeries and couplet care.
• Float to post-partum and NICU based on skill set.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• 2 years of Labor and Delivery experience preferred, but willing to review all candidates with relevant experience.
• Current ACLS, AWHONN Intermediate, BLS, FHM, and NRP certifications required.
• Active Washington state license or compact license required.
• Experience with Epic charting system is preferred.
• Travel experience is required; first-time travelers will not be accepted.
