Registered Nurse - Medical/Surgical Telemetry

This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule

Night shift: 3x12-hour schedule (19:00 - 07:30)

Job Description

The ideal candidate will possess an active RN TN license and have experience in Medical/Surgical (MS) and Telemetry settings. This role requires the ability to float to other units based on skill set and patient care needs. Weekend coverage is also required.

Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality nursing care to adult and geriatric patients.
• Monitor and assess patient conditions, including vital signs.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Provide education and support to patients and their families.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive patient care.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Must have current BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications.
• Active RN TN license required.
• Minimum of one year of experience in Medical/Surgical Telemetry nursing.
• Experience with Epic EMR preferred.
