Schedule

Night shift, 3x12-hour shifts (19:00 - 07:00), with some weekends required.

Job Description

Join our team as a Labor and Delivery Nurse in a critical access hospital that sees approximately 300 deliveries annually. You will work alongside two nurses per shift, providing care for labor and delivery patients. The hospital also accommodates postpartum patients when necessary.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive nursing care to laboring mothers and newborns.
• Monitor and assess patients throughout labor and delivery.
• Administer medications and manage IVs, if required.
• Maintain accurate patient records using the Cerner EMR system.
• Follow isolation precautions and PPE guidelines.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum 1 year of experience in Labor and Delivery.
• BCLS certification required.
• ACLS and AWHONN Intermediate certifications preferred.
• Must have a valid state nursing license at the time of submission.
• Previous charge experience preferred.
