3x12s, Days 07:00 - 19:00, with holiday rotation. Every other weekend requirement.

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled SICU RN with cardiac and neuro experience. The position involves caring for critically ill patients in the Surgical Intensive Care Unit. Travelers may float between like units as needed, similar to current staff expectations.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive nursing care to patients in a surgical intensive care setting.
• Monitor and assess patient conditions and administer medications as per protocols.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
• Perform required procedures associated with intensive care nursing.
• Participate in disease management and educate patients and families.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• 1 year of experience in a similar role (preferably 2 years).
• Current South Carolina RN License or Compact License.
• Certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIHSS required.
• Cardiac and Neuro experience is mandatory.
