Schedule

Night shift, working 3x12-hour shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM, totaling 36 hours per week. Weekend shifts are required, with a minimum of 3-4 weekend shifts in the schedule. Holiday rotation is also required.

Job Description

The Medical Surgical Float Pool Registered Nurse will be responsible for providing high-quality care to a diverse patient population across multiple medical surgical units. The RN will float to different floors as needed, adapting to varying patient needs and unit environments.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care in accordance with established standards of care and hospital policies.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Monitor and assess patient conditions, documenting clinical information accurately.
• Participate in multi-disciplinary team meetings to promote patient care coordination.
• Support patients and their families with education and emotional support.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience in a medical surgical setting.
• Current South Carolina or Multi-State/Compact State RN License.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is required.
• Previous charge experience preferred.
