Job Description

We are seeking an experienced LDRP Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team. The ideal candidate should have a strong background in labor, delivery, postpartum, and neonatal care, with proficiency in utilizing the EPIC charting system. This role will involve both maternity and newborn care responsibilities.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive nursing care in a labor, delivery, postpartum, and neonatal setting.
• Assist with high-risk deliveries and maintain sterile environments during procedures.
• Administer medications and manage patient pain using approved protocols.
• Educate parents on newborn care and breastfeeding support.
• Monitor and assess maternal and fetal health continually throughout labor and delivery.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in LDRP nursing.
• Certifications: NRP, AWHONN, FHM preferred; OB surgical recovery experience is highly preferred.
• AWHONN Beginner or Intermediate level, BLS certification required.
• Previous charge experience and familiarity with patient ratios are preferred.
