Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Surgical Nurse to join our surgical unit. This fast-paced environment requires efficient time management and teamwork to provide high-quality patient care. Ideal candidates will have experience in post-operative care.

Responsibilities

• Maintenance of post-operative surgical procedure sites
• Wound care, including packing, dressing changes, and wound vac maintenance
• Foley catheter care and continuous bladder irrigation
• Ostomy appliance changes and maintenance
• Nasogastric tube insertion and suction
• Total Parenteral Nutrition (TPN) management
• Blood administration and central line care

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Current BLS certification
• Experience in post-operative surgical areas such as vascular, bariatric, urology, or general surgery is preferred
