Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Emergency Department Nurse to join our team. The successful candidate will play a vital role in providing high-quality care in a busy Emergency Department, which is a Level II trauma center and comprehensive stroke center. The department handles a high volume of visits and offers a dynamic work environment that values teamwork and flexibility.

Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality patient care in a busy Emergency Department setting
• Work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment
• Monitor and assess patient conditions and responses to treatment
• Perform necessary medical procedures and document care accurately
• Assist in the triage process and prioritize patient needs effectively

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience, with at least 1 year in an emergency room setting
• Experience in a Level 2 trauma center preferred
• Current certifications: ACLS, BLS, PALS, TNCC, CPI, NIHSS, ENPC (within 90 days of hire)
• Strong teamwork mentality with the ability to provide real-time feedback and coaching
• Flexibility to work across various areas in the Emergency Department
