Job Description

Join our dynamic team in a fast-paced Medical Trauma Unit, providing care for patients in a medical surgical and telemetry setting. We are looking for compassionate and team-oriented Registered Nurses who excel in a collaborative environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality medical-surgical nursing care to a diverse patient population.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed, including blood products.
• Monitor patients using remote telemetry and perform health assessments.
• Manage complex wounds and care for tubes and drains, including NG, PEG, and chest tubes.
• Assist in pain management strategies and patient education.
• Collaborate effectively with the healthcare team to optimize patient outcomes.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Current RN license in the state of Virginia.
• BLS certification (Basic Life Support).
• Experience in medical surgical nursing is essential.
• Telemetry experience is preferred.
• Experience managing trauma and complex wound care is a plus.
