Registered Nurse - ICU - Night Shift

7:00 PM - 7:00 AM, every other weekend, three 12-hour shifts.

Job Description

Seeking an experienced Registered Nurse for the ICU unit. Candidates must possess strong clinical skills and be comfortable managing a diverse patient population in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care to critically ill patients.
• Monitor and assess patient conditions with telemetry monitoring.
• Administer medications and manage ventilation equipment.
• Perform therapeutic procedures such as phlebotomy and paracentesis.
• Collaborate effectively with interdisciplinary teams for optimal patient outcomes.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 2 years of ICU experience required.
• Active nursing license in good standing (KY/Compact).
• BLS and ACLS certifications required.
• Current NIH certification required (must be certified annually).
• Experience with CPAP/BiPAP management, therapeutic phlebotomy, and port access preferred.
