Job Description

Join a large multidisciplinary team with approximately 40 clinicians in a fast-paced hospital environment, where clinicians treat a variety of diagnoses, including orthopedics, neurological, behavioral health, and critical care. The focus will be on treatment including morning ADLs, 1:1 treatment, and facilitating group treatment.

Responsibilities

  • Deliver quality occupational therapy services according to treatment plans for patients.
  • Document with web-based software and documentation system (EMR).
  • Meet all clinical, departmental, and regulatory expectations, including productivity standards of 65% - 75% daily.
  • Provide accurate and timely documentation for current patient caseload.
  • Conduct patient and family education.
  • Participate in a positive work environment to promote teamwork and communication.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

  • Degree from an ACOTE accredited school.
  • Current state licensure or eligibility in Occupational Therapy in Maryland.
  • At least one (1) year of hospital acute care experience.
  • Experience running Occupational Therapy groups is a plus.
  • Strong documentation skills in an EMR system (preferably hospital-based).
  • Basic Life Support certification through the American Red Cross or American Heart Association.
  • Strong skills in flexibility, time management, and communication.
  • Focus on providing the utmost in customer service excellence and patient care.
