Physical Therapist (Outpatient Ortho)

This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule

Day shift, Monday through Friday, with potential night shifts required. Night shifts may extend until 7 PM.

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Physical Therapist with a focus on outpatient orthopedic care. The ideal candidate will have experience in an outpatient PT setting and be well-versed in assessing and treating various musculoskeletal injuries.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate patients and develop personalized treatment plans.
• Implement therapeutic exercises and modalities to improve patient outcomes.
• Educate patients and families on treatment plans and preventive care.
• Document patient progress and update care plans as necessary using EPIC charting system.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams for comprehensive patient care.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Current PA or compact Physical Therapist license.
• BLS and CPR certification required.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in an outpatient PT setting preferred; first-time travelers accepted with appropriate experience.
• Experience with outpatient orthopedic rehabilitation is essential; knowledge of neuro and hand therapy is a plus.
