Electrophysiology (EP) Technologist - Day Shift

This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule

Day shift: 5x8 hours (07:30 - 16:00) or late shift (08:30 - 17:00). Weekend coverage may be required for call vacancies.

Job Description

The Electrophysiology Technologist will perform diagnostic and therapeutic procedures in the EP labs, including primary scrubbing, implants, and ablations. This role requires potential floating to Cedar Crest as needed.

Responsibilities

• Perform hemodynamic monitoring and interpret dysrhythmias.
• Assist in laser-assisted procedures within the Electrophysiology Lab.
• Maintain accurate monitoring during procedures in the presence of diverse patient populations.
• Participate in the setup and maintenance of equipment utilized in diagnostic and therapeutic cardiac procedures.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience required.
• BLS, ACLS, and CCI RCIS certifications are mandatory.
• Experience with hemodynamic monitoring and interpretation of dysrhythmias is essential.
• Familiarity with the Epic charting system is required.
