Stepdown ICU Registered Nurse (RN) - Night Shift

3x12-hour night shifts, from 6:45 PM to 7:15 AM, with every other weekend requirement.

Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Stepdown ICU Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team. The ideal candidate will provide high-quality care and support to patients in a stepdown ICU environment. This role requires the ability to manage patients' needs effectively while collaborating with the healthcare team.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care and administer prescribed medications.
• Monitor patient vital signs and report any changes to the medical team.
• Assist in the development and implementation of patient care plans.
• Utilize telemetry and other monitoring systems to track patient status.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams for optimal patient outcomes.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 1 year of ICU experience; 2 years preferred.
• BLS and NIHSS certifications required; ACLS and CPI preferred.
• South Carolina RN license or a compact license required prior to start.
• Epic charting system experience and telemetry competency required.
