• Shift: Night, 12-hour shifts (7 PM - 7 AM)
• Weekend, holiday, and call required

Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled FLOAT Registered Nurse (RN) with experience in Medical-Surgical and Telemetry nursing to provide quality patient care across multiple units including Medical-Surgical, PCU, and acute inpatient rehab.

Responsibilities

• Deliver quality nursing care to patients with various medical diagnoses, including septic conditions, COPD, CHF, post-operative cases, and others.
• Float between multiple units: MS 4 Pav, MS 5 Pratt, PCU, and acute inpatient rehabilitation for orthopedic and neurological patients.
• Manage patient ratios of 1:5-6.
• Perform patient assessments and coordinate care effectively under stressful conditions.
• Provide education to patients and their families regarding clinical care and safety.
• Assume charge nurse duties as required.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Current New York RN license.
• BLS and ACLS certifications are required.
• Experience with Meditech is mandatory.
• Minimum of one successful travel nursing assignment completed.
• PCU experience highly preferred.
• Graduate from an accredited School of Nursing.
