Job Description

The Occupational Therapist will provide rehabilitative services to home health and hospice patients, working under the supervision of the manager/director. This role includes evaluating, planning, implementing, supervising, and documenting the care of patients, specifically targeting the geriatric population. The therapist will contribute to treatment, rehabilitation, and safety for home health patients while maintaining high standards of performance and compliance with regulations.

Responsibilities

• Appraise individual and family health needs and hazards.
• Plan coordinated therapy services for individuals and families.
• Provide education regarding treatment and safety for hospice patients and families.
• Document and adhere to established policies, procedures, and guidelines.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Licensed Occupational Therapist in North Dakota.
• Recent travel experience required; local applicants not accepted (50-mile radius rule).
• 2 years previous experience as an Occupational Therapist strongly preferred.
• Cerner experience strongly preferred.
